This karuta was created as a commemoration of the 1300th anniversary of the Heijo-kyo relocation, featuring original content incorporating scenery, history, events, and specialty products related to Nara.
The phrases were supervised by Nara Women's University, which promotes the "Nara Study Project."
With cute illustrations and phrases that adults can also enjoy, it's also good for a little studying.
It comes in a paulownia wood box, making it perfect as a gift or souvenir for those who love Nara.

I received this as a gift a while ago and opened it, but I don't think I've ever used it. I don't plan to use it in the future, so I'm putting it up for sale. The wooden box has some issues. No wrapping cloth. Everything in the pictures is included. The cards seem to be in good condition. I didn't see any folds or stains. Please judge the condition from the photos.
